Cherry Blossom Festivals have been annual events in the Los Angeles area for many years.  I've regularly attended these, but
this is the first year that I've actually put up photos from these events.  I attended two different festivals in 2010.  The Southern
California Cherry Blossom Festival continues to grow and evolve.  It has become one of the larger events held in Little Tokyo
every year.  The variety of sights and entertainment at this festival make it one of the better cultural festivals in the area.
Entertainment takes place on 3 stages throughout the day.  New for this year was the J-Pop stage, which featured things that
were right up my alley including the first ever cosplay contest for this event.  Along with a Hawaiian-themed stage and a martial
arts area, there is plenty here to keep oneself entertained for the day.  The following weekend, I visited the much smaller
Monterey Park Cherry Blossom Festival.  It has been a few years since I've been to this smaller festival.  After getting spoiled by
the previous week's festival in Little Tokyo, this festival might not seem like it's worth going to unless you really like these type of
events.  However, there's still some interesting things to see here and there's enough to make it a fun day.  These are fairly
large cultural events and I'm definitely looking forward to attending similar events throughout the summer.
