During the summer, there are many festivals in Los Angeles that celebrate Asian cultures. I try to get to
as many as I can. This year, or in past years, I've been to festivals dedicated to Japanese, Korean, and
Filipino culture. It's only appropriate to end the summer with the Harvest Moon Festival, which includes
many Asian cultures. For a one day festival, there is plenty to see and do as well as a fantastic lineup of
entertainment ranging from traditional Asian dances to popular music performers. This was the second
consecutive year that I have attended this festival and I really enjoyed it, mostly due to the much nicer
weather this year. It was a beautiful day for a festival and taking in the food, exhibits, and entertainment
of one of the best organized festivals that I go to all year.
