Mikomicon is one of the smallest anime conventions in the Los Angeles area. Attendance for this
convention is less than 1,000 people. You're not going to get a lot of big guests for this convention.
The exhibit hall is tiny. The masquerade takes only a few minutes. The official hotel isn't on site. A lot
of my friends don't even come to this convention or only stay for a little while. However, there are a few
things about this convention that keep me coming back. This was the third year that I've attended this
convention. Honestly, this is one of the few conventions in the Los Angeles area that I really get excited
about going to. Give me a few bands, some good cosplayers and a nice place to take photos and I'm
happy. Sometimes it's better to keep things simple and that's what I like about this convention.
